Ivory Properties apprises on its venture to Klang Valley

Ivory Properties Group Berhad bring to date on its new project – Taman Connaught during the Annual General Meeting at Ivory Tower, Penang Times Square recently.

Aptly named Grand Connaught, the mixed development features three majestic serviced and residential towers that are seamlessly integrated with retail podium for the convenience of the occupants.

The project which covers a 5-acre site located along the SALAK Expressway has a projected GDV of RM900mil.

Group chief executive officer Dato’ Low Eng Hock said that the project encompasses all conveniences under one roof.

He said the project will be developed with amenities and facilities for all degree of needs, may it be for lifestyle, family, work and study.

“Tower A is most suitable for business travellers and working professionals while small families and home-based business owners will more likely to choose from towers B and C.

“For tower A, we have co-working spaces, executive lounges that are perfect for business networking and casual meetings. With a facility floor spanning over 3 acres for tower B and C, there are fitness, relaxing, adventure and fun zones to cater for all ages,” he explained.

Low added that the project has all the services such as fitness, grocery shopping, cinema entertainment, retail therapy and leisure dining for its occupants. Co-working spaces are incorporated in the development to ease business operations and also a celebrity kitchen to accommodate big parties.

Ivory is also currently in the works of another development at Sungai Besi called Avenue 8 Residence. Consisting apartments and office suites, the project sits in the prominent intersection of KL-Seremban Highway, easily accessible from SALAK Expressway, Sungai Besi Expressway and Jalan Kuchai lama. With a projected GDV of RM230mil, the highly anticipated Kuchai Lama MRT will just be a short walk away.

Subject to the completion of the land acquisition, the Group also introduced its 64-acre project located in central Manjung, the new growth of Perak. Dubbed ‘The Pride of Manjung’, Sitiawan Square will feature a wholesome mixed-use development with multipurpose shoplots, retail stores, cineplex, an observation tower, a tourist centre, convention centre, serviced apartments and terrace park. It projected a GDV of RM1.2bil.

Meanwhile in Penang, the Group has several projects lined up for another action-packed year such as The Millennium, Batu Uban with a GDV of RM950mil (beside the The View Twin Towers). The mixed development sprawls over 5.9 acres of prime land comprises a hotel, serviced apartments and luxury condominiums perched on top of a central plaza that contains commercial shops and offices.

“We can expect The Wave which is phase three of Penang Times Square to be completed by next year. Phases four and five of the development are still in planning and we hope to be able to commence work soon,” said Low.

Chaired by IPGB chairman and independent non-executive director Dr K. Asairinachan @ Aravinachan, the AGM at Ivory Tower at Penang Times Square saw a turnout of some 100 shareholders and proxies.

During the AGM, shareholders were introduced to the Group’s new executive director Low Wei Shane. The floor unanimously adopted the 2019 financial statements and voted in favour of all its ordinary resolutions.
